Mr Monkey slot falls under a nature/animal life theme category, featuring the most common jungle related symbols. There is nothing particularly innovative when it comes to this game and its graphics. What We Love
Love is a pretty strong word, but we did quite like Mr Monkey character and, to some extent, the simplicity of the visual effects. In all honesty, we did not expect anything spectacular graphics-wise from the game called Mr. Monkey.
We do have to emphasize that there is a huge difference between simplifying and not trying. The structure of the game, together with the overall appearance was pretty reductive, which can sometimes be refreshing. The sound effects, on the other hand, ranged from cute and cheerful to irritatingly realistic. Finally, they become a bit too real and kind of chilling, up to a point we had to turn them off.

What we did love was a repeatable Free Games feature. In some cases, truly great slots can disappoint because their bonus features that cannot be reactivated. Luckily for us, this is not the case with Mr Monkey. The Free Spins here do not have the expiration date. One other thing that has become frequently omitted from recent slots is Turbo option, and we were happy to find it in this slot.
What We Do Not Like
Having in mind that the minimum bet is $2.5 and that the paylines are fixed, we expected a higher RTP and a larger total payout amount. Our expectations were, sadly, not met. The return to player is 95%, which is definitely not great, considering the potential loss and maximum win. The slot also lacked bonus features.
Being awarded 12 Free Games was not bad at all, but unfortunately, this is pretty much all you get, which is very crude by today’s standards. You will also not go far with the game before it becomes a snoozefest.

We encourage you, for the sake of Mr Monkey and objectivity, to at least give it a try. Our personal opinion of the game is not all that flattering. One word that we would use to describe this slot is – unmemorable.
