Cascades Casino Delta has received the final approval from the BCLC (British Columbia Lottery Corporations), regarding the $18 million renovations and expansion of its Cascades Casino and Langley project, and it announced the completion of phase one of this renovation project.

Langley’s multi-million renovation project in British Columbia has celebrated the re-opening of its adjoining Coast Hotel and Convention Centre, which unveiled the renovated space and the transforming of the property to a full-service casino and resort, with competitive and attractive local events.

Project Phases – Coast Hotel Refresh

Phase one included a $5 million in renovation works to the adjoining hotel and 26,000-foot convention center. It included new interior décor for all seventy-seven guestrooms as well as the public areas, in addition to the Match Eatery and Public House. It also included the addition of a brand new Bingo Hall.

As for phase two of this project, which is to be over in 2019, is going to witness an overall facelift of the casino gaming floor, and will include 11000 additional sq — feet of entertainment. It will also see the addition of the signature restaurant brand of Gateway, Atlas Steak + Fish.

Cascades Casino Delta stated that the scope of the significant expansion and renovation of its Cascades Casino Resort is going to result in more than one-hundred new job opportunities for the community.

Ray MacNeil, the Vice President of Operations in British Columbia East, commented on this massive project and stated that the renovation of the convention center and the hotel is only a part of the $18.6 million renovation project. He added that it is going to attract entertainment seekers and gamers as it will provide them with everything that they need, all under the same roof. So they can find luxury hotel rooms, versatile convention spaces, and a wide array of live casino entertainment and dining options. All of this will help set the premises apart in all of Langley.
