The company has just announced a new deal with FIBA, extending its marketing and media rights agreement for the next 3 years.

As part of the agreement, Bwin.Party will promote some of FIBA’s biggest events, including the next two Eurobasket competitions, the FIBA world championships and the 2012 Olympics qualifiers. Bwin greatly values its sports sponsorships and CEO Norbert Teufelberger believes that it is “an essential component of Bwin’s sports brand philosophy. The company focuses on three main sports: basketball, football and motorcycle racing.

FIBA is also pleased with the new partnership. The association believes that basketball is a great platform for sponsors, especially international basketball, a market that is growing quickly.
