The annual ICE exhibition concluded last weekend with over 400 exhibitors. Regulators, payment solution providers and software providers were all their to show off their new products. Many of the products displayed will be available in the next few months with more coming over over the next 12 months.
A key exhibitor was IGT. This company operates both online and offline gaming businesses. They introduced their newest slow machine, for the online market, called Star Trek. This new software has the latest audio technology as well as visual technology. Another product introduced was a slot machine for the iPhone. They converted the Cleopatra slot game from WagerWorks, and it will be available to play for fun at all MGM Resorts, M Life Player Clubs. Members will be able to use not only the iPhone, but iPads and iPods. It is hoped this will be a positive introduction to mobile gaming.
Playtech was also in attendance and had a wide range of online gambling wares to display. They also introduce a new interface for users that is easy to use with a comprehensive search platform. Users will be able to easily locate games and be able to choose the ones with the best bonuses. Search results with be very descriptive as well as visual. Playtech also introduced a number of new slot games.
The consensus this year was that the exhibition was one of the best yet. With the speed at which technology is advancing this exhibition is a must see every year as the newest and latest gadgets get better at a rapid pace.
