Net Entertainment, a Swedish-based online gambling company, has announced its new multi-year partnership with Universal Partnerships and Licensing. Net Entertainment will begin developing branded games based on popular products from Universal. The first is currently in development but its release date is still unknown.
“This is a landmark for Net Entertainment,” says CEO Johan Ohman. “It will enable us to further enhance our product offer to also include games based on brands and characters well known to the mass market”.
Net Entertainment is currently a small operation and a fairly unknown brand. The company’s new partnership with Universal will undoubtedly boost its reputation. It is likely that Net Ent-powered casinos will see an increase in traffic, and the company may even begin licensing its software to casinos that are currently powered by other online gambling developers.
