Mobile poker became very popular in the UK, and expanded to other markets where mobile gambling is authorized, including Canada. Recognizing the need to diversify its services, Full Tilt Poker is expanding its latest mobile poker offering beyond the British Isles.
The poker domain launched an iOS app for its fast-fold poker option known as Rush Poker, which is marketed as the ultimate high-speed poker experience. At the time of the launch, the app was only available for players to download from the Apple Store if they lived in the UK.
But Full Tilt Poker confirmed that players in other countries will also have access to the Rush Poker app. The expanded launch will introduce the app to players in Canada, Germany, and Ireland to start, while Full Tilt Poker hinted that other markets are on the horizon when the next round of expansion is scheduled to occur.
The Rush Poker app is available to both new and existing Full Tilt Poker players, though new players are required to create their own mobile poker account to use the app. The games currently available through the app are No Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha, both of which are fast-paced versions of the common poker games.
Poker commentators believe that Full Tilt Poker will develop Rush Poker tournaments accessible through the app in the near future to entice more players into downloading the app. There is also speculation that PokerStars, the sister site of Full Tilt Poker, will also launch its own app in time to reach a higher volume of players.
