The battle between zombies and humans has never been more entertaining thanks to the upcoming release from Microgaming! Lost Vegas video slot is themed after the immensely popular zombie topic.
The radioactive virus has spread through Sin City, zombies are taking over the gambling capital, but humans that survived are still resisting. Everything is ready for the final encounter, so you will need to pick a side, help the humans or become the flesh eating undead monster. Both Survivors and Zombies offer plenty if you choose to join them in this five-reel slot with 243 ways to win, and even if you are not satisfied with what you got, you can always switch sides with a simple click on the Mode button.
What We Love
We were very impressed with the overall visual appearance of the 2016 release. The slot offers two different modes, hence two different backgrounds and two different types of high value symbols. The good people of Microgaming cleverly used Las Vegas to place their cartoon-like slot, since it is the gambling capital of the world. The soundtrack fits the theme well, and really raises the tension as you spin the reels, especially when you trigger one of the Bonus features.
We also love the fact that both Survivors Mode and Zombies Mode offer two different kinds of Bonus rounds. First, let us say something about special features in Survivors Mode. The Zombie Fist of Cash is a feature randomly triggered during base game, and it can occur after any non-winning spin, awarding gamers with instant cash prizes once the enormous zombie hand filled with money emerges from the ground.
There is also a Free Spins feature, triggered by three or more Radioactive Scatters, with Rolling Reels, Survivor Stash filled with 25 low-value symbols that turn into instant cash and end up on your balance alongside prizes won by forming winning combinations.
If you decide to experience the life of a flesh eating undead monster, than you should definitely try out the Zombie Mode, that offers Blackout Bonus feature, again randomly triggered after any non-winning spin. In this mode high-value zombie symbols turn into cash prizes, while if you happen to land a single Radioactive Scatter on the reels, you instantly trigger the Free Spins, which are also triggered by three or more Scatters in the base game.
You can get up to 50 freebies and all 5 infected reels that will get you plenty of stacked Wilds and huge payouts. We were thrilled to see that you can change sides any time you like, so it never gets boring in the Microgaming product.
What We Do Not Like
Before we say anything bad about this slot, we first need to test it in order to discover the downsides, so you will have to wait until October. At this point, we can only assume that those random Bonus features offered will not occur quite often, while you will probably have to fight hard and spend a good deal of your cash for the chance to trigger one of the Free Spins.
Truth being told, we are not very fond of apocalyptic themes, but judging from the incredible popularity of the Walking Dead, World War Z, and many other zombie movies and TV shows, we are certain that Lost Vegas will find its way to the hearts of spinners.
Judging from the teaser, the Microgaming title has plenty to offer: polished, cartoon-like graphics, a matching soundtrack, two game modes, two types of random Bonus features, two types of Free Spins and lots and lots of fun during gameplay despite the fact which side you chose to fight on. So stay alert, because the final battle will take place this October and it could award you with rewarding payouts if you pick the winning team.
