This year, PokerStars launched its first mobile poker applications for Apple and Android devices. Now, the company is adding to its selection of mobile games with Zoom Poker, a fast-action online poker application.
Zoom Poker was released online in March 2012. Although it was only a beta release, the game received a great deal of positive attention from players and critics. It closely resembles Rush Poker by Full Tilt, but since the site has become obsolete, there is no competition in the fast-action poker app market.
In Zoom Poker, Texas Hold ‘Em and Pot Limit Omaha are available. The stakes range from 1c/2c to $2/$5. It plays out just like any other traditional poker game – the only difference is that players are moved to a new table with a new hand as soon as they fold. Multi-tabling is also available, as players can compete in up to 4 Zoom Poker sessions at once.
The application is available for download starting today for both Apple and Android mobile devices. It is a great addition to PokerStars’ already vast collection of online poker games, and we highly recommended trying it out.
