The Canadian poker market is full of talented individuals who perform well at some of the world’s biggest poker tournaments. However, very few of them have partnered up with large poker operators for sponsorship deals – but an up-and-comer named Gillian Epp is changing things.
Epp is a professional poker player from the Canadian Rockies. She has been playing poker for a number of years, after getting her start as a poker deal in Vancouver casinos. Epp has most recently moved on to playing high-stakes cash games in Las Vegas, where she was discovered by gambling operator Bet24.
The company recognized her talents, believing her to be a suitable endorser for Bet24. As such, the company will back her in cash games and tournaments while she spreads the world about the online gambling operator.
“I’m very excited to find a sponsor who believes in me and my skills,” Epp says.
While she has yet to break into the high-stakes tournament world, Epp is seeing a successful career blossom before her. With the new sponsorship deal, it is likely that we will begin seeing her face at prestigious poker tournaments like the WPT and WSOP.
