APCW Fires Back at Online Casino Grand Prive

Onlinecasino.org News | 11.12.2008 | 12:06:26 | Views: 1840 | Casino News

More turmoil in the world of online gaming has arisen. Online casino Grand Prive who owns other brands like Bella Vegas, Jupiter Club, Casino Grand Bay and so on, have closed their affiliate program.

This came as no surprise since Microgaming pulled out all U.S. player-accepting casinos. One would have thought that the closure of their casinos was the next step. However, their online casino end of the business seems to still be up and running – a move that is creating huge tidal waves as the affiliate program brought in much of the business and player base that Grand Prive is still currently profiting from – and basically are leaving their affiliates high and dry.

The APCW, a highly respected agency representing players, webmasters, affiliate managers, and casino programs that provides a wealth of information and voices to many in the industry are now condemning Grand Prive for the shrewd business move. J. Todd, APCW executive director has even posted a video on YouTube. In the video, J.Todd discussed the case.

He said Grand Prive sent an announcement through email about shutting down. Most expected this coincided with Microgaming's departure and would soon see the rest of their gaming brands follow suit.

However, this was not the case. Instead, Grand Prive is dumping their partners and running away with all the profits. J. Todd also noted that the sites are all Kanawake licensed, that they all bear the eCogra badge and are all powered by Microgaming. Attempts to contact Grand Prive have been unsuccessful however J.Todd and the APCW have been in contact with the three above-mentioned companies and expect to have a statement on their Friday Perspectives Weekly show so stay tuned!
