Microgaming is set to debut the sequel to its popular Avalon slots game entitled ‘Avalon 2: The Quest for the Grail’ as part of the 243 ways to win slots series. The game is scheduled to launch at Jackpot City Casino, one of the most established online casinos on the network in February.
Avalon 2 taps into the Arthurian tales of legend, drawing players into a world that recreates the ancient kingdom of Britain. Microgaming describes the new game as an engrossing story based on the legends of King Arthur, brought to life through contemporary designs and animations.
Players enter the game as one of five main characters – Arthur himself, his right hand Merlin, Guinevere, Morgan, and a dark character Microgaming says is only known as the Black Knight. The story, as the title suggests, will revolve around the search for the Grail across the ancient British Empire.
The game has five slots reels, and encourages players to spin for the Grail symbols. If three or more reels spin up the Grail, players will access the bonus feature, which is a map of Arthur’s enchanted kingdom of Camelot. There are eight bonus rounds found within separate regions of Camelot with progressive challenges and rewards that all lead to the final bonus destination – the mysterious Isle of Avalon.
Microgaming says the Avalon 2 online video slot is one of the largest and most developed casino games ever created. The designer also released a number of teaser trailers to excite slots players for the game’s debut at Jackpot City Casino and other Microgaming affiliated gambling domains next month.
