NextGen Gaming, the Australia-based interactive games development studio of the NYX Gaming Group has closed an online game distribution deal with fellow-Australian slot machine content creator, Lightning Box Games (LBG).
The agreement includes NextGen’s reconfiguration of some of LBG’s series of slot machine contents into online gaming materials using NextGen’s proprietary Global Delivery Network (GDN) technology. That way, the LBG land-based slot creations can be added to NextGen’s diverse portfolio of product offerings, available for worldwide distribution to NYX Gaming’s network of global licensees including NYX Open Gaming System (OGS) ™ partners.
Slated for initial distribution by the first quarter of 2015 is the adventure-themed “Dolphin Gold” slot, to be released in both HTML5 and Flash formats. It features Lightning Box Game’s stacked dual Wilds that also serve as scatter symbols triggering the Bonus Game Round.
According to the Commercial Director at NYX Gaming David Johnson, the partnership with LBG diversifies NextGen Gaming’s product offering, to which the development involves both the NextGen game studio and The Group’s business delivery sector. The outcome furnishes their new partner, Lightning Box Games, the edge they need in getting the well-loved land-based LBG games running in online, mobile, and social network facilities through NYX Gaming’s far-reaching distribution network.
The Managing Director of Lightning Box, Peter Causley, considers NYX Gaming Group’s immense access to remote gambling operators around the globe highly appealing, in terms of options for getting the Lightning Box Games delivered across multiple markets. They are excited to bring their 21 years of land based gaming skills online with their highly respected new partners, as the collaboration with the NYX Gaming Group will extend the reach of their games.
