Online Casino Software Provider Microgaming Cancels License with Tusk Investment

Onlinecasino.org News | 28.02.2008 | 08:54:45 | Views: 1145 | Casino News

One of the worlds leading online casino software providers, Microgaming, has cancelled its license with Tusk Investment Corporation, after the company admitted to dealing with debt issues.

The eCommerce Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance (eCOGRA), which offers player protection for the online gambling industry, rejected Tusk Investment after a routine review.

In a statement made today, a spokesperson for Microgaming said, "Microgaming announces that it has terminated its software license with Tusk Investment Corporation-with immediate effect, after having received Tusk's notification of its plans to put the company into liquidation."

"Microgaming is presently gathering all facts related to this matter and will provide further announcements as and when information becomes available."

Tusk Investment Corporation operated a variety of online casinos and poker rooms including Golden Reef Casino, Big Casino, UK Casino Club, Poker Sweden, Hot Pepper Poker, Grand Central Poker and Euro Poker Dream.

Microgaming is still in decisions for whether or not they will set up a Players' Trust arrangement, which is something they have done in the past to ensure that any players with unpaid monies in their account are reimbursed.
