CryptoLogic’s Poker Network is set to merge with Boss Media, a subsidiary of America’s GTech Corporation, as part of their alignment and growth strategy and new focus on branded games and their internet casino business.

The mergers is said to create possible savings of up to 15 million dollars for CryptoLogic. Under the new agreement Boss Media will be responsible for providing fully managed poker solutions to CryptoLogic’s poker licenses which includes Sun Poker, Playboy Poker, Interpoker, Classic Poker, Betsafe Poker, and William Hill. They will be joining other great Boss Media Poker sites including Celeb Poker, Paradise Poker, Poker Heaven, Fortune Poker, King Solomon’s Poker, Canada Poker, i4 Poker, and 24h Poker.

CryptoLogic President and CEO, Brian Hadfield, commented in the company press release, “This partnership provides our poker customers with access to one of the largest poker networks in the world, while helping CryptoLogic reduce costs substantially. Also, it will allow us to focus on the continued development and licensing of the Internet’s most innovative casino games, and to leverage our lead in branded content games in partnership with the world’s top entertainment brands.”

“This agreement reflects GTech’s strategy to optimise our assets and to broaden and grow our international player base,” said Atul Bali, President for GTech’s New Media and Sports Betting Company.

The new merger with Boss Media’s International Poker Network will begin in the first quarter of 2009.
