Canadian Gambling Industry Offers Hundreds of Jobs

With new casinos being launched all over the country, the gambling job market is creating a large pool for job seekers. This spring, Casino New Brunswick will be opening its new hotel and entertainment complex in Moncton, a venture that will need almost 500 new employees.

The new casino will need dealers, supervisors, administration and security, among dozens of other job titles waiting to be claimed. The hotel and restaurant will also requiring staffing, so hospitality workers in the area, and those across the country who are willing to relocated, will be eligible for this opportunity.

Casino New Brunswick will be a vast undertaking, so its no wonder that such a large mass-hiring will take place. The new complex will come complete with 20 table games, 8 poker tables, 600 slot machines and a 130-room hotel. The entertainment and convention venue, Palladium, as well as the restaurant and bar facilities, will also need to be sufficiently staffed.

The jobs will be available to workers will all types of experience and the employer is already arranging partnerships with various training facilities in order to get their staff the knowledge that they need to be successful in this industry. The casino's operators are currently in talks with the New Brunswick Community College, in hopes to enlist the institution as a training program for its casino and hospitality employees.
