Keno
Keno is one of the oldest games in the gambling world, dating all the way back to the Han Dynasty in China. Similar to Bingo, Keno is a lottery-style game in which players bet on which numbers are going to be called from the Keno board. Players can choose up to 15 numbers, and the payouts depend on how many numbers were chosen correctly.
The first step in playing online Keno is to choose your numbers. You can pick them yourself or pick the randomizer option which chooses them for you. On each number you pick, you must place a bet, ranging from $1 to $5. Every match that is made is called a “Hit”, and the amount of money you win for each Hit depends on the amount of money you’ve bet on the numbers that won. Jackpots are awarded in Keno, but this usually only happens when a player picks all 15 numbers correctly.
While Keno is purely a game of chance, there are many ways for players to secure a win while playing this popular numbers game. It is often advised to play all 15 numbers, because you have greater chance of making a hit. However, payouts are also based on how many numbers you’ve picked, so your payout decreases with each number you bet on. So, picking only three winning numbers will pay out 100% while making 4 hits from 10 picks will only give the player 40% of the jackpot. If you’re a conservative player or a beginner, pick fewer numbers. However, if you’re an aggressive player, pick more number and bet more money on each one.
