Keno is one of the oldest games in the gambling world, dating all the way back to the Han Dynasty in China. While Keno is purely a game of chance, there are many ways for players to secure a win while playing this popular numbers game. It is often advised to play all 15 numbers, because you have greater chance of making a hit. However, payouts are also based on how many numbers you’ve picked, so your payout decreases with each number you bet on. So, picking only three winning numbers will pay out 100% while making 4 hits from 10 picks will only give the player 40% of the jackpot. If you’re a conservative player or a beginner, pick fewer numbers. However, if you’re an aggressive player, pick more number and bet more money on each one.
